Issue descriptionExample URL: http://www.jidanni.org/location/directions/index.html Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enable Data Saver 2. Browse http://www.jidanni.org/location/directions/index.html What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? Embedded Google Map becomes just a wad of static images. The website provider's reputation is ruined. And nobody can navigate to his house. Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? Yes Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 57.0.3364.3 Channel: canary OS Version: 7.0 Flash Version: People will laugh at my website, even though it follows ALL of Google's recommendations!

@jidanni: Thanks for the report!! Looks like you're using old version of Chrome, Could you please update to latest Chrome version #65.0.3325.109 and check? Thanks!!

Embedded google maps looks reasonably good and navigatable, with latest version of Chrome.

OK it looks good in 67.0.3375.0 (Official Build) canary (32-bit) but I don't see a data saver message below it although enabled, so am not sure if it is fixed for sure.

@jidanni you probably won't see any Data Saver messages on that page, but you can check that Data Saver is enabled by looking in the Settings menu. RE: comment#5, there is more than a year between M57 and M67. I've confirmed that the page works on Stable (M65). Closing this bug for now.
