Probably turned off reading from canvas (--disable-reading-from-canvas). What resulted was the lack of the logo on March 8.

start chrome --disable-reading-from-canvas open new tab https://www.google.com/doodles/international-womens-day-2018 No Logo. Error - Uncaught DOMException: Failed to execute 'toDataURL' on 'HTMLCanvasElement': Tainted canvases may not be exported. chrome --enable-reading-from-canvas Logo show.

It does not have to be excluded from reading the canvas directly in chrome. The content may interfere third party blocker (extension), proxy, etc.

Mac triage: marking this WontFix. --disable-reading-from-canvas isn't the default and this doesn't repro any more. |
