The use case is the following: the release team want a function that will determine the platform for a commit given the contents of the commit log entry.

The audit app already gets treediffs from gitiles to determine that a commit only modifies a specific file.

The additional step this function will need to do would be to download the component mapping from google storage and perform the match of the paths in the TreeDiffs to a set of components and return that.
