Issue descriptionChrome Version: 65.0.3325.146 OS: Windows 7, Windows 10 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Install a theme with a wallpaper for the New Tab Page (2) Observe the wallpaper is cut off at the bottom. This is being reported on our support community. Hm, it does seem possible that this is related to the recent flag change. I couldn't immediately reproduce, but I'm still getting the vanishing-tiles behavior. Maybe turning off the flag had this side-effect?

Seems like this is dupe of bug 812065 which exists on M64 as well so it is not M65 regression, correct?

I don't believe it's an M65 regression. It may be related to bug 812065 , but I don't think it's a dupe. Update to reflect that kristipark is looking at it.

My Chrome screen is coming up without the Google title bar and without the search question bar, however it is loading properly on my Android tablet. Is this an issue with Chrome or with my laptop?

i just updated my chrome yesterday "chrome Version 65.0.3325.146 (Official Build) (32-bit)" and then suddenly custom theme in newtab are cut off , i tried to set the theme in default and then reinstall the theme again it backs to full and then after few hours it became half again i don't know what to do anymore...to fix this :(

c16: that sounds like a different issue. Can you throw in a screenshot and your Chrome version number? This behavior can be caused by malicious extensions so check to see what extensions you have enabled at chrome://extensions/.

I also got the same issue since yesterday.. It makes me uncomfortable, maybe because I'm a bit OCD(?) I use MacOS High Sierra (10.13.2) and Chrome Version 65.0.3325.146 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I just reinstalled chrome today to try and fix this....no luck whatsoever. The theme is cut off from the bottom. Incognito works just fine though. Thought was extensions however I removed all my extensions even google extensions. Still no luck.

I am having the same problem. (03-11-18) New tab page has a blank bar at the bottom of the screen. Very annoying.

Just to let you know. I confirm that this issue,(background Image Cut-off), has now gone. Chrome running as normal...at least with THIS user. lol Many thanks for your work on correcting this. It is much appreciated. :)

c51: Thank you for the images! This is actually the fixed behavior since you can see the bottom part of the background image. The white bar is there because the image is not tall enough to reach the bottom of the page.

i thought its already fix because after i reinstalled my usually used theme it goes full again and i leave my computer open and i sleep but after i woke up this morning open my chrome newtab , the theme has a cut off again :( i guess i have to wait a little longer for the new update to fix the issue , and maybe i'm just too excited and already missed my theme because i uninstalled it because of this problem :(

Apologies for a regression that some of you have experienced. The server-side update mentioned in c50 was paused due to other items in the same package. A new rollout has begun, and will take a few days to rollout everywhere. Thanks for your patience as we get this, and other changes, rolled out.
