Responsive design mode cuts off page

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.146 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. go to any webpage
2. open devtools and enter responsive design mode
3. open a new tab and then return to the previous tab

What is the expected behavior?
expect the screen to not have changed

What went wrong?
white blocks appear on right and on bottom

Did this work before? Yes whatever came right before the version that got downloaded when i quit & reopened chrome this afternoon

Thanks for creating this. I'm also experiencing the same behavior/bug.

I've been able to reproduce the issue as well. I've checked with numerous other developers and all have been able to re-create the issue.
