Acer Chromebook 15 CB5-571 gets stuck at sign-in for 30 sec. after powering on.

Reported by karenrat...@gmail.com, Mar 7 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10176.76.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.190 Safari/537.36
Platform: 10176.76.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.Turn on computer by lifting lid or hitting power button
2.Try to type password in and everything on page gets stuck for 30 sec.
3.After the 30 sec. wait, sticking will stop, and everything will be fine.

What is the expected behavior?
I "expect" my Acer Chromebook 15 CB5-571 to turn on quickly like it used to and not stick at sign-in for 30 sec. or more. It is only about 2 yrs. old.

What went wrong?
A couple of months ago, it seems after an update, the sticking at sign-in, after turning on, started. Every time I turn on the computer to sign in, the cursor will stick when I try to type in my password, and everything on the page will stick for a good 30 sec. After the 30 sec., everything is fine. I have tried every channel and have been to Developer Mode and back, still the sticking at sign in. I have tried turning off the internet, still the sticking. I have tried disabling the extensions to no avail. When I do Power Washes or use the Recovery Tool, the "Welcome" screen sticks for some seconds too. Even after the newest update, where now I can get the Play Store on Stable Channel, my sign-in sticks. I have pressed the refresh button and the power button for a fresh start-up, but most of the time sign-in sticks.

Did this work before? N/A

I have been to the Chromebook Community and the Acer Community. They both said to post this issue here. I have already posted this same issue two times with no helpful response. I am willing to go to Developer Mode and type a command in the shell if that's what it takes. I have been trying to fix this for a couple of months! Please help if you can.

...a little more to say: I saw on the Chromebook Forum, people where having this same issue, but that was a year ago postings. There were no suitable answers that I could see. karenratkisson@gmail.com

Guys, look at issue 820207 . I wrote there that this incessant sticking at sign-in, after an update a couple of months ago, has been resolved just about a week ago for me. I think a very recent update you guys did has fixed it. It used to get stuck at sign-in for 30 sec on every channel and even on power washes and chromebook recoveries. I noticed it wasn't sticking on Beta Channel a couple of weeks ago. Then, I noticed there was a new update. I ventured over to Stable Channel, and there is no sticking on sign-in now and no sticking on power washing. So, something happened that you guys did that fixed it, an update? I am very happy everything is working for me again! :)
