Issue descriptionChrome Version: 64.0.3282.137 OS: Android 7.0.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Open any "Single-Page Application" web site (for example, http://cubiq.org/dropbox/iscroll4/examples/simple/ ). (2) Open the overflow menu. (3) Tap on the download button (arrow in top row of icons). (4) Press the "Download" button, and then "Open" in the notification. (5) Try to scroll the page What is the expected result? The programmatic scrolling feature doesn't require internet connection and should work. What happens instead? Scrolling and any JavaScript do not work on the page, because all JavaScript is removed when the page was "saved" as MHTML. On the restoration, only "stale" DOM and CSS do appear.

Thank you for the bug report. We are aware that JS doesn't work in offline snapshots. Merging into the existing tracking bug. There are no plans to enable JS at this time, but that bug remains open in case we either implement mitigations - or change our plans about JS. |
