Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 10176.72.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.167 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10176.72.0 (Official Build) stable-channel veyron_minnie Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Download a zip file containing Umlauts (https://www.hueber.de/shared/audio/schritte-neu/011081_Schritte_Neu_Uebungsgrammatik_V2_Audiodateien.zip) 2. Open downloaded file with ZIP Unpacker 3. Extract files via normal drag-and-drop process What is the expected behavior? Umluats should be displayed correctly within ZIP file filename contents list and upon file extraction. What went wrong? With the "new" ZIP Unpacker enabled, the Umlauts are not displayed correctly (an outline box character appears). With this option disabled, an infinite "Russian doll" recursive folder set expands, with no files listed. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3282.167 Channel: stable OS Version: 10176.72.0 Flash Version: 28.0.0.161 /opt/google/chrome/pepper/libpepflashplayer.so I am logged in as the Owner with my Display Language set to UK English with GB (UK) and US (Intl) keyboards enabled.

On 67.0.3365.0 (Developer Build) (64-bit) I see a number of issues with this zip file. Using either 'New ZIP unpacker' or 'Zip archiver - Unpacker' from chrome://flags, the zip file does not show any contents in FileApp when I double click on it. If I use gunzip from shell, a directory is created which displays in terminal as: '011081_Schritte_Neu_'$'\334''bungsgrammatik V2' In FileApp, the folder is shown with no name. Some minimal test files attached should reproduce.

The test files which I created on mac by extracting zip file referenced and then rezipping with smaller dir names and file names seems to be working fine, but I have created a smaller zip file below that seems to display the same problems. I created this zip file by running commands: cp 011081_Schritte_Neu_Uebungsgrammatik_V2_Audiodateien.zip test.zip zip -d test.zip *1.mp3 zip -d test.zip *2.mp3 ...

I'm not able to repro this on the latest Chrome OS (70) with the default flags. There are three unzipping methods. If I switch to AVFS, I get an empty directory. If I switch to "zip unpacker", I get no files or directories. And if I keep the default ("zip archiver"), the files and directories are displayed correctly.
I suspect https://crrev.com/560519 fixed this.
