problem in the search bar

Thanks for filing the issue!

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.186 using Windows 7 with the below mentioned steps.
1. Launched Chrome
2. Searched some content.
3. Opened a new tab and gave initial letters of previous searched content
We are able to see the already searched content as suggestions.

@Reporter: Could you please check the same by creating a new profile without any apps and extensions.
