Web contents blank or does not update until window resized |

Issue description66.0.3359.0 10452.0.0 canary samus What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Type any address into omnibox (2) See spinner in tab run, then stop, but content area stays grey Resizing the page makes it paint, once. Further interactions do not cause visual updates. (for example, you can type into a text field and the characters are there, you just don't seem them until you reshape the window). This happened with a canary update last Thursday or Friday. about:gpu is all green except for "CheckerImaging" which is disabled. +cc a bunch of people, maybe this is a dupe.

This might be a surface sync bug. I'm investigating now. Will unown if it's not surface sync.

Screenshots attached, before and after window resize. Hit testing may also be messed up. I don't always see cursor changes when hovering over links. Sometimes keyboard shortcuts are wedged, like Ctrl-F5 doesn't always take a screenshot.

I cannot repro on eve with ToT chrome at r540852. Maybe something got fixed?

My samus just auto-updated to 67.0.3362.0 / 10461.0.0 and the problem went away. Maybe somebody else fixed it. |
