Tested on Samsung S7 Android 6.0.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 on reported Chrome #64.0.3282.137 and latest Canary #67.0.3364.3 and not able to reproduce the issue. Attached the screenshot of behavior.

Requesting MTV to verify on the reported devices in C#3.

Thanks!

oh im developing a hybrid app so test with a hybrid app instead of a normal chrome browser please.
Most important condition is -webkit-column-width must be set to device width and the number of columns should two or more (ex. -webkit-column-count : 3)

This is a feature request about rectangular selection or selection on visual
order.

Please file a bug in https://github.com/w3c/selection-api/issues for your
desired behavior.
