Thanks for filing the issue! Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.186 and on the latest canary 67.0.3360.0 using Windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Navigated to https://jsfiddle.net/aLww556q/5/ and https://jsfiddle.net/aLww556q/13/ We didn't observe any white line with border. Attaching the screen cast of the same. @Reporter: Could you please have a look at the screen cast and let us know if we have missed anything. Any further inputs from your end may help us.

I can only reproduce it on my laptop; it works as expected on my desktop. The main difference between the version page you showed and mine is the list of variations (attached). Would information about the hardware be relevant?

I can't reproduce in canary on either low-dpi or high-dpi but this looks like a background size issue. Schenney, this looks like 785171. Sander, are you able to download Chrome Canary and see if this was fixed?

Almost certainly fixed by the change to make backgrounds fill the border box. Please check Canary.
