Crashes on start-up

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_13_3) AppleWebKit/604.5.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/11.0.3 Safari/604.5.6

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Simply opening the tab.
2. Trying to navigate to any website. Attempt to load extensions where it will freeze and then crash.
3. Trying to do any function with chrome.

What is the expected behavior?
Chrome should allow me to browse the internet and view webpages.

What went wrong?
Immediately closes tab and quits the application.

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 64.0.3282.186  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.13.3
Flash Version: Most up-to-date

I've tried submitting crash data but the application crashes before it is sent.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.13.3 using chrome reported version (stable)-65.0.3325.106 as per the below steps:

1. launched chrome
2. Navigated youtube.com  & other sub links .No crash observed
3. Navigated other sites like cnn.com, fb.com etc & No crash observed
4. Navigated to chrome://extensions & able to add new extensions successfully without any crash issue.

Please find the attached screencast for reference & Could you please reinstall the chrome & try in new profile without any apps and extensions & let us know your observations on the same.

Mac triage: this issue is awaiting followup from the reporter; our only path forward at this point is for the reporter to try a clean profile, which might allow the prior crash dumps to be uploaded.

My apologies. Managed to fix the issue. Had to go into the system folder for chrome and change the folder titled "default" to "backup default" and this fixed the issue. Not sure exactly why this was the issue, but I found this solution elsewhere and gave me relief from the crashes.
