Unable to use web app navigation commands in inbox.google

Version: 66.0.3359.0
Reproduction Steps: 
1. Enable Chromevox Next.
2. inbox.google.com
3. Once it loads, press j to jump to the first message in the lits.
Expected: The content of the first bundle of message would be read out by Chromevox.
Actual: Nothing is announced, and focus does not jump to the first message or bundle.

I was unable to confirm this issue in Chrome 67.0.3366.3 Canary.

Works as expected
