Still repros in Google Chrome 70.0.3514.0 (Official Build) dev (64-bit) (cohort: Dev)

This is a symptom of the root cause of being unable to focus on a tab using the keyboard and therefore being unable to invoke the context menu: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=873008 That said, I want to keep this bug separate since a hot key could also resolve it.

https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src.git/+/c2635b23eeffa4713fdf2c540f704b3e1ed7eee7 makes tabs keyboard focusable. When focused, SHIFT+F10 brings up the context menu. Audio can be muted from here. I'm therefore marking this as fixed.

Reopening; I forgot about Mac. The fix should work on Windows and ChromeOS however.

Have we made any additional forward progress on this bug? Is it blocked on Issue #702414 or similar? If the issue is fixed, please mark it appropriately. If you cannot proceed, please assign to someone who can.

Adding Elly. Elly, this appears to be fixed on all platforms but Mac, which evidently has a different scheme for focusing tabs in accessibility mode? Can you provide feedback as to how it could be fixed, or a pointer to someone who could do the work if it's outside our scope? Thanks!

Ah, yeah - we can focus tabs right now, but there's no way to open the tab context menu from there. I can fix this.

Thank you for grabbing it then! |
