Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.186 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a page with multiple Iframes and with logging output 2. open the dev tools on the console 3. refresh the page 4. wait for everything to load What is the expected behavior? All logs previous to refresh should clear, All new logs should stay What went wrong? new logs after the refresh, but before some Iframe load event are cleared. Hence we miss a great deals of logs. Did this work before? Yes 62 or 63 Chrome version: 64.0.3282.186 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: This behavior is evident when you check the 'Preserve log' option, this shows all logs that were wiped by iframe logs event. In the attachement, you will find the explanation of what is cleared and what is not.

pfeldman@chromium.org with what version will it go out? I see the same issue with iframes. It fires a second onLoad event, refreshes console and breaks loading time metrics.

https://chromium-review.googlesource.com/909864, this will be in M66. It only affects those with SiteIsolation enabled.

In Chrome Version 64.0.3282.186 (Official Build) (64-bit) (Mac)
I've noticed very similar behavior, along with console.logs disappearing, i've noticed the page refreshes unexpectedly.
Repro steps:
1) In about:blank page
2) Create dynamic iframe by entering this code in devtools console:
console.log("a comment that should persist");
var iframe = document.createElement('iframe');
document.body.appendChild(iframe);
3) You'll notice an empty iframe in page
4) In devtools, now set iframe source via code: (can be any site without X-Frame-Options set)
iframe.src = "https://www.iheart.com";
You will notice the entire page incorrectly refreshes

I have site isolation disabled but still see the issue. Might be a separate bug?

Could you check if your DOM trees are stacked in the Elements panel? I believe iframes are isolated from about:blank. In either case, this is fixed in M66.
