I should be able to join and present to a meeting What went wrong? I am able to join the meeting but receive an error that says "You aren't presenting" on the page. I'm able to present in the Debian version of Chrome but not in the version of Chromium that I use. Did this work before? Maybe a codec issue? Definitely nothing to do with the Streams API, anyway. Sending to WebRTC component for further triage.

I believe this is because Debian builds Chromium with enable_hangout_services_extension=false. Also see issue 829916 on why Meet currently won't screenshare from Chromium even with the above flag set to true.

Only official Chrome is supported by Hangouts/Meet. |
