Regression: Profile icon looks strange

Chrome Version: 66.0.3358.0 (Official Build) canary (64-bit)
OS: macOS 10.12.6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Click on the Avatar Button, so that the menu appears
(2) Take a look at the menu
(3)

What is the expected result?
To see the profile icon.

What happens instead?
The profile icon looks strange.

This is a regression.
