OpenVPN / L2TP is not working after update to Version 64, although it appears to connect

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 10176.72.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.167 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10176.72.0 (Official Build) (64-bit) Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Press VPN disconnected option 2. select VPN server to connect 3. wait for connection - wifi symbol gets asterisk What is the expected behavior? computer should be connected to web via VPN server What went wrong? computer still on normal isp server according to dnsleaktest.Even when IPVanish app is installed from Google Playstore, it appears to be working, but dnsleaktest reveals it is not Did this work before? Yes Version 63 Chrome version: 64.0.3282.167 Channel: stable OS Version: 10176.72.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 28.0 r0 IPVanish is working well for me on Fire TV and on fire tablet, and until yesterday was working on chromebook. I have fixed the problem by doing the following steps: 1.Perform Powerwash. 2.Go to chrome://flags and Enable ARC VPN integration. 3.Do clean install of IPVanish app from Google Play Store. No need for Open VPN / L2TP. |
