What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open Chrome
2. Select any web page (e.g. Google.com)
3.

What is the expected result?
If I type Google.com in URL text box I expect that webpage to appear in Chrome, just like it does in Internet Explorer

What happens instead of that?
Chrome closes instantly.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
No other information except that it started happening unexpectedly, after many years of using Chrome.
