Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS aarch64 10443.0.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3356.0 Safari/537.36 Platform: 10443.0.0 (Official Build) dev-channel elm Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Set ecosia.org as default search engine 2. Switch back to google as search engine What is the expected behavior? No... What went wrong? The whole system just freezes for a moment, then all chrome-windows just closes and when it opens back up, ecosia is still the default search engine. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3356.0 Channel: dev OS Version: 10443.0.0 Flash Version: 29.0.0.108 I think ecosia has to be registred as primary search engine from their website

I cannot reproduce this (on my Mac). Here's what I tried: 1. go to ecosia.org. 2. do a search on that web site. 3. open chrome settings. 4. select manage search engines. 5. find ecosia.org in the other search engines section. 6. press the three dot menu by that item and select make default. 7. find it in the primary search engine section near the top of the page. Note that it's marked as default. 8. find the google.com entry in the search engine section, then use the three dot menu by it to select it as default. Observed: no crash; google.com is now marked as default Can you re-check to see if this is still an issue for you? Did I get any step wrong?
