Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.167 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Load the web page. 2. Click on an item in the select box 3. Click on a different item in the select box What is the expected behavior? Clicking on each item should fire a new event. What went wrong? When an item is already selected and the <select> box still has focus, clicking on a different item does not fire a new event. However, clicking away, so that the <select> box looses focus, and then on a new item will generate a change event. Did this work before? N/A Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 64.0.3282.167 Channel: stable OS Version: Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa Flash Version:

Not reproducible on macOS, Linux, Google Chrome 64 and 66. With the attached index.htm, selecting 'a' produces two input event logs and two change event logs, and selecting 'b' produces two input event logs and two change event logs. Can you reproduce this in Incognito window?

I am able to reproduce this in an Incognito window with the attached index.htm file. It is only reproducible on Linux for me (I have also tried Windows 7), but it may be specific to the distro I am using. I have attached a video of testing with the index.htm. |
