Thanks for pointing this out and sorry for the delay.

The problem here is that this run of the cleaner didn't require a reboot, which is not what has been happening during our weekly tests.

Have you used the same machines as those tests? Just to make sure there is no minor config issue, are you installing the UwS from an elevated prompt? If positive (I assume it is), would you mind retrying the test on the same machine as the weekly tests, since the result has been consistent there?
Thanks for the update! i have used the same systems for this feature testing and i have installed the UWS through Admin cmd prompt only. Please let me know if anything required from my end.

Thank You!
Let's wait for this weekly test to see if reboot will be required as usual. If it is, then we will need to look more closely into the issue, because it can be related to a mismatch in our test setup. I will update this once we get results next week.
@ftirelo: We have completed weekly tests. Could you please update on this issue.

Thanks in Advance!

Tested the issue on Windows-7,8.1 & 10 using chrome latest Canary M67-67.0.3372.0 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed that reboot prompts are displaying as expected. Hence adding TE-Verified label.

Please find the screen shot for reference.

Thank you!
