Tested the issue in Android and able to reproduce the issue. Steps Followed: 1. Launch Chrome. 2. Navigate to any URL which is long. Eg.: https://in.finance.yahoo.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s9-release-date-093342642.html 3. Tap on the omnibox to see cursor. 4. Drag the cursor towards right. 5. Observed that text gets hid behind the ‘X’ button. Chrome versions tested: 64.0.3282.137 (Stable), 66.0.3355.0(Canary) OS: Android 8.1.0 Android Devices: Pixel, Pixel XL Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results, Good Build - 66.0.3350.0 (537342) Bad Build - 66.0.3352.3 (538313) You are looking for a change made after 538248(GOOD), but before 538249(BAD) CHANGELOG URL: The script might not always return single CL as suspect as some perf builds might get missing due to failure. https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/b32637caaca74d5f77ab4b7b8c52b452cbd56ea9 From the CL above, assigning the issue to the owner concerned. @thildebr: Could you please look into the issue, pardon me if it has nothing to do with your changes and if possible please assign it to owner concerned.
