DIfferent file extension in Omnibox than in page info

Project Member Reported by mar...@mwiacek.com, Feb 23 2018

Issue description

Device name:s7

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:66.0.3353.0
Operating system:7

Steps to reproduce:
(1)open flag "Enable offline pages to be shared" in chrome://flags
(2)download page
(3)open file in "My files"

Expected result:
Omnibox URL contains ".mhtml" in the end

Actual result:

Omnibox URL contains ".ml" in the end

Giving P1 - URL parsing in Omnibox should be bug free, also mhtml files can be wide used soon in Chrome

marcin@ -- Could you please verify by moving the cursor to the end of the URL in the omnibox. Observed that when tapped on the "Offline" button displayed on right side of omni box '.mhtml' can be seen.

Note: Unable to verify on Samsung S7 Android 6.0.1 as tapping on the Omnibox of Offline page, empty text box is displayed. (Can be observed in the screen cast attached for Issue 815303)

Thanks!

You're right - after looking more carefully I have seen than last "l" is in fact "h".

The problem which I see now is that right end of url is not visible for user during scrolling (https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=816566). Confirmed on two devices.

I'm closing this one.
