There's something wrong with profile persistence

Reported by regis.ca...@gmail.com, Feb 23 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3346.8 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use some google account to sync your bookmarks (etc) or install lastpass extension
2. login to google or lastpass
3. close the browser and restart the machine (restart required?)

What is the expected behavior?
when you launch back Chrome, you are still connected to google / lastpass

What went wrong?
I'm disconnected

Did this work before? Yes 65.0.3325.31-1 for sure (will add a comment after some tests)

Chrome version: 66.0.3346.8 Channel: dev
OS Version: Ubuntu 17.10 up to date
Flash Version:

I saw https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=815018 that looks related (but unsure it is) and https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=813502 (but this is on the stable channel)

Got an update, so I'm now using 66.0.3350.0 and the issue is still here (seems fixed for synch however) but hard to reproduce.
Yesterday night I did shut down my computer and this morning I got the update (apt popup), I did complete it and after starting chrome, lastpass extension asked for my master password. I was asked to login on crbugs too

Hi,

I found 801855 and tried to log out of sync and log back in. That fixed the issue. So I assume this can be closed.

As per comment#3 from the reporter,as the issue has been fixed, hence closing it.
