One thing that's disconcerting about the new UI (at least on eve): if there is an error, like a missing password field, the user has to scroll down to see the red error text.  It isn't readily apparent / discoverable like it was in the old UI.  In the new UI it just looks like nothing happens after you click Connect, until you realize there's more stuff outside the visible area.
