Lots of "Unknown or Unsupported Devices" in unexpected locations (e.g., in transit) |
||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: M64 beta channel (don't have specific version info anymore, and haven't re-tested on M65 build I have now) OS: Chrome OS What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) be on a bus or car in traffic (2) open bluetooth settings What is the expected result? very few devices in the list as you would not expect bluetooth discovery broadcasts on the road What happens instead? Loads of "Unknown or unsupported devices" in the list, unable to find and pair a legitimate device (like BT headphones in my case) because of the noise in the list I encountered this problem on the bus on the way home, and again in the car the next day on a different route. My Pixel 2 Android device did not report these additional devices either time. Attached image of a partial list

Soon they will be not shown by default, so not a bug anymore. Sonny can probably not waste time on this.

What's changing that will make them not shown by default? Is there a tracking bug we can link to?
