Chrome Android behaves differently than Linux Chrome (with Android agent) or FF |
||||||
Issue descriptionDevice name:s7 From "Settings > About Chrome" Application version:66.0.3350.0 canary, stable 64 Operating system:7 URLs (if applicable):https://shop.brando.com/contact.php Steps to reproduce: (1)open url (2)start typing something in comment form Expected result: Form is not changing size Actual result: Form is changing size, when some text is in the comment font. This is overwriting captcha. I have checked, that FF works fine and stable Chrome on Linux (even with Android mobile agent) works fine. Because of it it looks, that this is Android version problem rather than page site (but please investigate and let us know result).

Observed the size is changing Chrome versions tested: 66.0.3352.3(Canary) OS: Android 6.0.1 Android Devices: Samsung S7 This seems to be a Non-Regression issue as same behaviour is seen since M52. Hence, Untriaging this issue so that the issue gets addressed. Please navigate to below link for log's and video-- go/chrome-androidlogs/814642 Thanks!

It seems this is the feature to help user for ease of entering text. Since the page doesn't have mobile version, it is likely Chrome/Blink feature. I'm not sure who implement this in Chrome/Blink, route to Blink>Input since it is input related.

Seems to be related to a text area resizing (happens in devtools when emulating a Nexus 5X). The textarea resizes but doesn't cause the table to adjust it size so it gets painted over top of. So I think there are 2 bugs here. 1) The adjusted layout doesn't dirty the table layout 2) The text area resizes for some reason.
