Cancel button in new "Report an Issue" is on opposite side of other Chrome features |
|||||||
Issue description1) In Chrome build with FeedbackKit v2 tap on Settings > Report an Issue 2) Notice the 'x' button in the top left corner of the feedback form. This is inconsistent with other Chrome "Done" or "Cancel" buttons that tend to be on the top right. The top-left is part of a standard component for feedback submission used by many Google apps, and allows the "Send" button to be on the top right. Question: is this an issue for UX? Is there some other layout they'd strongly recommend we use?

Pete, can you weigh in on this? Happy to walk you through the issue if needed.

Apple's UX guidelines are to place the back button on the left side of the navigation bar: https://developer.apple.com/ios/human-interface-guidelines/bars/navigation-bars/ I don't think we can/should deviate from this.

I agree with Chris here. I think it's fine to have the 'x' in the top left in this case.
