Info trust EV-qualified root ca in Chrome

Reported by fmartini...@gmail.com, Feb 21 2018

Issue description

Dear All,
I am trying to understand the root inclusion program process for Chrome.
In my understanding, for OV / DV certificates, the root-ca is inherited by the OS, while for EV Server Auth certificates, there exists a specific process (as described in Chromium Root Certificate Policy) requiring a WebTrust for CAs - EV Audit.

I would like to ask for more details, specifically:
- As other programs (Mozilla / Microsoft) does ETSI TS 102 042 V2.4.1 Audit have the same value (instead of the WebTrust one)?
- A confirmation that, in normal conditions, the EV qualified root is not inherited by the OS
- If the latter point is confirmed, are there any fees for the inclusion?

Many Thanks,
Francesco Martini
