Pinpoint job has failed to complete (at least 4 days later)

Assuming this was a transient failure, I've started another bisect (crbug 812708 #c7).

Yeah think this was a transient failure, from the logs:

"Timeout: The datastore operation timed out, or the data was temporarily unavailable."

I know if tasks fail to run properly, we often don't manage to get them into an error state to be displayed in the UI.
