Tested on latest stable Chrome #64.0.3282.137 and latest Canary #66.0.3350.0 and not able to reproduce on Android 6.0.0 Redmi Note 3 Build/MMB29M by following the below steps:

1. Launch Chrome.
2. Open a new tab.
3. Navigate to any website. Eg.: www.google.co.in
4. Long tap on text in omnibox, to open context menu.
5. Tap on "Copy".
6. Observed that context menu displays and tab moves to the top of the page.
