USB-C to Display link to Apple DVI DL active adapter fails on resume

Chrome Version: 65.3225.65

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Use a device with a USB-C adapter to DP and from that adapter connect to DVI DL 
(2) Wait until system goes to sleep
(3) Resume

What is the expected result?
Display continues working

What happens instead?
Display misbehaves (doesn't misbehaves in continuous usage)

Could you, provide some extra information?
1. What board do you use?
2. It's confusing, you mention USB-C to Display link and USB-C to DP. Which adapters do you actually use and how do you connect/chain them? 
3. "misbehaves" mean it doesn't wake up / wakes up, but shows nothing / shows corrupted image / something else?

I wasn't able to reproduce this bug. Not enough information for the futher investigation.
