Printing excess blank pages in Windows

Reported by johndthr...@gmail.com, Feb 16 2018

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://tdstelecom.com/shop/tv/channellineup/channel-listings.html?city=Black+Earth&state=WI&key=FQXiK

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Navigate to https://tdstelecom.com/shop/tv/channellineup/channel-listings.html?city=Black+Earth&state=WI&key=FQXiK
2. Ctrl-P / Click Print button
3. View print preview or view resulting print

What is the expected behavior?
Print preview and resulting print job does not have excess blank pages

What went wrong?
The print preview and resulting print job have excess blank pages at the end.

When printing on Chrome in Linux (CentOS 7, Version 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) 64-bit), Firefox (both Linux & Windows), or Internet Explorer (11.0.9600.18893), the resulting print does not have excess pages. However, in Firefox and Internet Explorer, the channel table has the same padding as on the webpage (20px top and bottom per td element, for example).

It appears that Chrome attempts to "shrink" the webpage for printing, by removing unnecessary padding. In Linux, this is successful, and results in a table without unnecessary padding, and no excess blank pages. In Windows, however, a number of blank pages about equal to the length of the original padding are added to the end of the document.

When in the print preview, if More Settings > Margins > Minimum or None is selected, then the excess blank pages are removed.

If viewing the page in Chrome Dev Tools, and the Print rendering is used, no excess space is shown.

If this cannot be fixed in Chrome, what steps would it take to alter the CSS of the website to result in no excess space being printed?

Does it occur on multiple sites: N/A
