Issue descriptionChrome Version : 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on LinuxMint 18.2 (64-bit) What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Run google-chrome --headless --remote-debugging-port=9222 https://demo.castlabs.com/ (2) open a browser on http://localhost:9222 and open the available web content (3) Under the media player, there is a list of media, select one about the "Big Bunny" What is the expected result? We expect to have the media played. What happens instead? No media is played and multiple errors appear on the JavaScript console (see attachment). This behavior is the same (with potentially different errors) when a website requires DRM. Another simple example is Spotify which doesn't work on headless version too. Someone also created a thread about it on https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!searchin/headless-dev/EME/headless-dev/usTF9tb7CM0/UF5JKhSnAQAJ From my point of view, the video is not the need but audio could be nice. I saw that extensions won't work on chrome headless for now. I don't see information about DRM (or I missed it) so I ask the question: Can DRM be available on headless mode ? |
