Kernel Panic: Timeout: Not all CPUs entered broadcast exception handler |
||
Issue descriptionObserved this kernel panic on Coral system while sheriffing. Will try to see if there are more such instances from CQ runs. Grant, could you check if we are getting reports of such panics from the field as well? Marking it as a P2 for now since not sure how prevalent this issue is. This problem is widely blamed on the CPU microcode, associated with a suggestion to update the same. According to the boot log, the system runs with microcode revision 0x2c. The most recent microcode is version 0x2e, released 2017-11-22. No idea though if this is really related.
