Investigate test coverage/improvement for canvas

We need to investigate further about increasing test coverage (especially rendering errors) in canvas to prevent the following
from happening again:

By looking at the postmortem again, I think the major reason of this incident is actually the lack of bug reporting to Chromium Issue Tracker. Test coverage, regardless how best it can become, is never 100% sufficient; bugs are always expected and we should develop a mature attitude in handling them quick and well.
