It seems the symbol mangling used in names.h was inherited from Mozilla (https://searchfox.org/mozilla-central/source/modules/zlib/src/mozzconf.h).

It is worthwhile to double check that we got all symbols covered and maybe while at it follow the same convention of new symbols X releases.
