Google Bluetooth headset volume gets out of sync on Chromebook |
||
Issue descriptionChrome Version: 64.0.3282.134 (Official Build) beta (64-bit) Chrome OS Version: 10176.65.0 (Official Build) beta-channel chell Chrome OS Platform: HP Chromebook 13 Network info: GoogleGuest in SAN office Please specify Cr-* of the system to which this bug/feature applies (add the label below). Steps To Reproduce: (1) Connect Google's Bluetooth headset GID6B to chromebook https://mystuff.corp.google.com/stuff/items/1699 (2) Increase volume above 50% using the volume buttons on the chromebook keyboard (3) Notice the volume on the headset is barely perceptible. (4) Increase volume using the buttons on the headset. (5) Notice the volume indicator on the chromebook jumps back down and now matches the actual volume on the headset. (6) Also notice how now the volume controls on the chromebook now work as expected. Expected Result: The volume controls on the chromebook should have the same effect as the controls on the headset Actual Result: The volume controls on the chromebook are initially out of sync with the headset when it's first connected. How frequently does this problem reproduce? (Always, sometimes, hard to reproduce?) Tried three times. Haven't rebooted my device. What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is it? Impact it medium. At best it's a small annoyance. At worst the user may think the headset doesn't work on a chromebook at all. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screen shot or log if possible. For graphics-related bugs, please copy/paste the contents of the about:gpu page at the end of this report.

Thank you. Closing as Won't Fix (aka No Repro). It appears based on comment #3 this has been fixed in recent builds. |
