Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/62.0.3202.75 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Chrome; open about 16 tabs; leave open for several hours 2. Memory and swap memory fills up with Chrome processes 3. Workstation becomes unusable; unable to fork new processes What is the expected behavior? I expect Chrome to use about 1GB of RAM and not fill up the swap drive. What went wrong? I don't know. Did this work before? Yes Prior to last or previous upgrade Chrome version: 64.0.3282.140 Channel: n/a OS Version: Debian 9.3 Flash Version: Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit) Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 9.3 (stretch) Release: 9.3 Codename: stretch About 16 open tabs 7 extensions installed: AdBlock, Google Dictionary, Google Hangouts, Google Keep, HTTPS Everywhere, Inbox by Gmail, The Great Suspender Behavior: Leave Chrome open and running; Chrome fills up all memory and swap; workstation becomes unusable My workstation has 8GB of RAM; and originally I had a 8GB swap partition. No matter the size of the swap partition Chrome fills up all available RAM and the swap. No memory is released. This is utterly and completely unacceptable. I am running the same extensions and Chrome version with as many open tabs on Windows 10 and I don't have a problem. The Great Suspender somewhat seems to mitigate the problem, but not completely.

Hi, image Selection_023 is reduced so much that it is impossible to see which processes consume how much ram. Please reupload a readable version so that we can see if the memory is consumed by the main process or some other process.

I've re-uploaded a readable version.

Thanks fo filing the issue!! Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 64.0.3282.140 on ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned below. 1. Launched 64.0.3282.140 and opened 16 different tabs. 2. Installed above said extensions. 3. Left the system for 4 hours didn't observe any lag -- System all windows opened are usable. @REporter: Does this happen without any extensions enabled? And does this happen on any other OS as well. Tentatively adding Blink>MemoryAllocator as this is related to memory leak. Thanks!
