Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.140 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Put the attached autocompleteBug.html file on a website that you have your login saved for Auto-Fill. 2. Open the page in the browser. What is the expected behavior? 1. The "Unrelated Field" should not auto-fill. 2. After 1 second, the input fields should be cleared via javascript. 3. After 2.5 seconds, an input should be appended to a hidden form, but the visible inputs should not change. What went wrong? 1. "Unrelated Field" is auto-filled. 2. After 2.5 seconds, the "Unrelated Field" is auto-filled again. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3282.140 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Expected behavior #1 is related to https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=587466#c25.

Tried testing the issue on mac 10.12.6 using chrome reported version #64.0.3282.140 and latest canary #66.0.3350.0. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Opened the attached autocompleteBug.html file on a website that had login saved for Auto-Fill. 2. Opened the page in the browser. 3. Nothing happened on clicking the "Unrelated Field" or"password" field. stephen@ - Could you please check the attached screen cast and please guide us how to proceed with the issue testing. A screen cast if possible will be highly helpful in understanding the issue. Any further inputs from your end will help us in further triaging of the issue. Thanks...!!

You need to put this on an existing website that has a saved account. In my example, I saved my password for http://localhost, so you'll see that it auto-fills, then clears after 1 seconds when I clear it with javascript, but then shows up again when a form input is appended.
