Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/64.0.3282.140 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Click on link on third-party app (Slack for example) 2. The browser launches with the link but it crashes. Extensions too. 3. Open up a new tab, try to load a different URL, it can't. Requires me to close the browser, wait a second or two and then launch the browser normally and then I have to navigate to the URL myself. What is the expected behavior? To load the URL properly when I click on the link in Slack app, not to crash the whole browser including the extensions. What went wrong? The browser launched with immediate crash (including the extensions) with the link that I clicked on Slack app. Crashed report ID: No. Just checked. How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3282.140 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Let me know if you need more info.

Tested in chrome # 64.0.3282.140 and Canary #66.0.3347.0 on win 10.0 and not able to reproduce the issue Steps Followed: --------------- 1. Created slack account and navigate to main page. 2. Shared the message link to another system and try to open it. able to view the details without any crashes. @vladimir: Could you please let me know if i have missed anything and if possible,Please create new profile without other extensions and apps.Re-check once and let us know the observations and provide the crash id from chrome://crashes of the issue which would help us to triage the issue further. I attached the screenshot on what happens when I try to reproduce the issue on a clean profile (Chromium). So I've decided to set the "Google Chrome" as a default browser and tried to the same by clicking on a link in Slack app, and the browser (Google Chrome) launched with the link properly, without a crash. Chromium for Windows is the only one who is producing this behavior.

I cannot post the crash ID because it's disabled in Chromium for Windows, like I said in the beginning: "Crashed report ID: No. Just checked."
