A11Y: Contracted braille in gmail and docs in Chrome

Project Member Reported by dsexton@chromium.org, Feb 12 2018

Issue description

Chrome 66.0.3345.0 Canary
JAWS 2018

Steps to repro:
# Connect a focus 40 braille display to the computer
# With JAWS running, open a document in docs or new mail in gmail
# Type the word 'thought' on the keyboard or using the display, then press space
# It should appear as three characters on the display (possibly four if it auto capitalizes)
# press backspace on the display five times.
# Press right arrow or down arrow
# Notice the word comes back 80% of the time

Expected: JAWS should say: 'space' 'O U sign' 'dot five' 'th sign' and the word should be completely gone

Actual: JAWS says 'space' twice and then after deleting the word, it can res erect itself

Works as expected in Firefox ESR 52

Let's fix selection first which is what Jaws uses to edit what's in the text field and then revisit this bug.
