You can use the following extension for the test. I've also attached the html test page. Open the page and start recording. After 5 seconds the page starts changing (first video frame). Please make sure that no change and no mouse mouse should happen before that time on the page. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/skyroom-screen-sharing-an/pejdnafppnpfimpnipdkiidjancinenc

I also tested on Linux (Ubuntu 17.10) with similar behavior except the audio is not lost if there is a video frame (does not matter where in the timeline. It's while in Windows you loose audio part before the video frame.

Unable to reproduce the issue on reported chrome version 64.0.3282.140 and on the latest canary 66.0.3352.0 using windows 10 with the below mentioned steps. 1. Launched Chrome 2. Installed the extension from URL ttps://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/skyroom-screen-sharing-an/pejdnafppnpfimpnipdkiidjancinenc 3. Started recording with the help of extension 4. Played a random video from Youtube We are able to record video along with proper audio without any issues. Attaching the screen cast of the same. @Reporter: Could you please have a look at the screen cast and let us know if we have missed anything in the process of reproducing the issue. Any further inputs from your end may help us. Thanks!

No you didn't get the point. Every thing is fine with a normal page. The issue occurs on a page with static content. Please test with my provided attached file. The point is that no audio is recorded as long as there is no change on the page. If you watch my attached video, it is silent for a few seconds until a small change (input box) happens on the page.

Again, to reproduce you need to start recording immediately right after the page is opened or reloaded and before "Now start a change.." shows up. No mouse move over the page should happen. Testing on Chrome 66 I can not reproduce the issue!

As per comment# 12 from the reporter, as the issue is not reproducible on latest chrome stable, hence closing it and marking it as won't fix. @Reporter: Please feel free to raise a new issue if you see the issue again. Thanks! |
