Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/64.0.3282.140 Chrome/64.0.3282.140 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Watch YouTube video 2. Go to history page What is the expected behavior? History entry uses the final title that was dynamically generated from the Youtube video page. What went wrong? The history just shows the static HTML title "YouTube", making it difficult to identify which video it was from the history. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 64.0.3282.140 Channel: stable OS Version: Flash Version: Firefox's history gives the full Youtube video title as expected.

Unable to reproduce this issue on reported version 64.0.3282.140 using Ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned below. 1. Navigated to youtube.co and now opened history -- observed entry for youtube.com 2. Now clicked on video present there, navigated to history an reloaded the page -- observed link for second navigated video. Attaching screencast for reference. @Reporter: Please check the screencast and let us know if we miss something. Please check the issue on fresh profile which do not have any extensions/apps. This would help in further triaging of the issue. Thanks!

This issue appears to be more frequent when AdBlock is enabled. Sometimes it happens in a new session on the first video, then after that it shows the full title on subsequent views. https://issues.adblockplus.org/ticket/6379#comment:8

Try opening and going directly to a video or search URL, see if the full title loads on the first page.

@13hurdw: Could you please detail/elaborate on comment#9, Does "Try opening and going directly to a video or search URL" mean, after opening the chrome - pasting the URL which is already copied on clipboard ? or navigating to youtube from an other web page which has youtube link in it. That would be highly helpful if provided with a screen cast through which the issue can be clearly understood. As ET team can see the titles being displayed in History. Any further inputs from your end may help us. Thanks!

As we are unable to reproduce the issue on latest stable 66.0.3359.181 and there is no response from the reporter from a long time, closing this issue and marking it as Won't fix. @Reporter: Please feel to raise a new issue if there are any issues observed on the latest chrome builds. Thanks!

Experiencing this issue in Chrome 68.0.3440.91 on Android. Title in history shows up as either the video URL or just "YouTube". |
