Double x button in the addess bar

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enter any address
2. Tap the address to edit it , dissmis it
3. Tap the address again

What is the expected behavior?
One “X” button to clear the address bar

What went wrong?
Double “X” button

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: <Copy from: 'about:version'>  Channel: beta

On the screenshot you attached there are two buttons in the address bar: round circle with an X symbol that clears the text and the sideways "> <" button that collapses the address bar. This is the intended behaviour. Please clarify if this is what you referred to as "double x button"

Check the attached video, round circle with an X moves to the left when you click on address bar, sometimes that button becomes doubled. I couldn’t reprodute it atm.

Thank you for the screenshots. If you see any pattern in how to reproduce this, it'd be really helpful. So far I was unable to repro, but it's hard to deny your screenshots, too.
