Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Enter email id and press enter. 2. Enter the password and press enter. 3. Enter the OTP in 2 step authentication text field and append * after the OTP and press enter. 4. You will login successfully in Gmail account with the wrong OTP. 5. This issue is only in chrome browser. What is the expected behavior? The expected behavior is that the text box should give error message after entering a wrong text. What went wrong? I am a software developer I think some validation message is missing here. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: I have reported this issue on Gmail "send feedback" feature also. So please check. Able to reproduce this issue on reported version 63.0.3239.132 , latest stable 64.0.3282.168, latest canary 66.0.3349.0 using Windows 10, Mac 10.13.3 and Ubuntu 14.04 with steps mentioned in comment@0. Issue is seen in firefox as well. This issue is seen from M60. Hence considering this issue as Non-Regression and marking as Untriaged. |
