Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/66.0.3344.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Type "mitigations" into the commenting text box on this issue. 2. Right-click the word and click "Add to dictionary". 3. Type "Mitigations" into the commenting text box on this issue. What is the expected behavior? Chrome does not consider "Mitigations" to be a misspelled word since you already added "mitigations" to the custom dictionary. What went wrong? Even though you already added "mitigations" (as if the word were to be in the middle of a sentence) to the custom dictionary, "Mitigations" (as if the word were to be the beginning of a sentence) is still not added, causing "Mitigations" to be considered a misspelled word even after "mitigations" has been added to the custom dictionary. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 66.0.3344.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

Reporter@ Thanks for the issue. Tested this issue Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 on the latest Canary 66.0.3340.0 and Stable 64.0.3282.140 and able to reproduce the issue by following the steps mentioned in the original comment. Issue is not seen on Mac OS 10.12.6 Though adding 'mitigations' to the dictionary, on typing the word 'Mitigations' , can see it as a misspelled word. Attached is the screen cast for reference. This is a Non-Regression issue as this behavior is observed from M60 Chrome builds. Hence marking this as Untriaged for further updates from Dev. Thanks.. |
