Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/63.0.3239.132 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Navigate to https://codesandbox.io/s/yvnknqmrl1 2. Make sure the checkbox shows LTR 3. Try to select text from left to right 4. Now try to select text from right to left. What is the expected behavior? Text to be selected on a per token base. What went wrong? Backward selection doesn't select the text. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 63.0.3239.132 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 28.0 r0 **This code has the logic to make sure the user is seeing a per token selection while selecting the text. Change the direction to RTL and observe the same behavior. (maybe even worse)

Could you provide simple HTML to see behavior? The URI specified in #c1 keeps showing "Bundling Dependencies...".

Sorry, I can't find the time to re-do that, I've made this React app solely for the purpose of this bug report. I've attached the code here if that works.

>#c4, thanks for attching ZIP file. But, it doesn't work. "index.html" doesn't have SCRIPT elements to load script files.

>#c7, thanks for URI. It works for me. However, I'm not sure how this page works since it consists many JS files. Please provide minmal reproduce case without React to identify the root cause. BTW, when I attempt to run this app on Edge, it causes IndexSizeError, it may cause unexpected behavior on Chrome. Here is an error message on Edge: Error IndexSizeError Anonymous function https://codesandbox.io/static/js/sandbox.bea94ee3.js:5060:99
